How to Get the Most Out of the ES2?
For those who have been playing them awhile, what are your recommendations as to how to get the most out of it? Any particular settings you like, etc.? I imagine it's dependent on the amplifier or PA you're playing through but can anyone give some broad strokes?

Straight into an acoustic amp, any, and the ES2 in my 314 and 414 sounds good to me. I use a Fishman Platinum Pro EQ when I DI out to a PA.

I would add don’t be afraid to tinker with the pickup adjustment screws. I know Taylor say it’s set at the factory and of course it is, but wood expands and contracts with the seasons and is affected by other conditions. I found that my Taylor benefits from a little tweak now and then just to get the pickup’s response back to ideal.

I think an IR makes a nice improvement. I bought a 3simga Mart45 IR for $10, apply it though my helix.
