Default Natural Forces (Lyle Lovett)

Excuse the wind pls? And planes. And passing cars. And.... So much for trying to be artsy!

Thanks for listening Glenn! Trying this outside teaches me there is a huge skill set to recording. I’m just zooming it, but who knows maybe down the road after I retire one day I can elevate my game.

Great one Sal. And I always appreciate your song selection. Lyle is pure genius. And the outside vibe totally worked.

Lyle Lovett is kind of underappreciated as a songwriting genius, I think. I have seen him a few times over the years, and he's always great, especially with his full band.

You did a fantastic job with this one, Sal; very enjoyable.--Tim

Lyle would approve, Sal. Nice job. This song is perfect for you and that guitar.

I remember one of the first online audio / videos I saw after I started playing again in 2017 and joining the AGF (after barely touching a guitar for 30 years) was you doing a Lyle Lovett tune with Maury up at their shop. It was fantastic. I’m less familiar with this song, but it’s great too. Evidently, you really have a feel for his stuff Sal. I enjoyed this one a lot, and the outdoor recording didn’t distract from the music a bit…

Thanks all of you! Very generous with time and kindness.

Ray thank you… that made my day. I think Maury and I played She’s No Lady?

That was a swell day… picking up a guitar from an awesome dude, and getting to pick a few tunes with him.

Really cool, Sal. The background noises just add to the vibe I think.
