Still refining here, thanks for any thoughts.
Still harsh and boomy. Post this without any reverb. It is hard to get a grip on the recording issues with the reverb. If it is not a good reverb and/or not used well it really damages the sound.

As far as improving room acoustics, put up a number of acoustic panels. I bought mine from ATS Acoustics.

Yes nt5s, thanks for corretion. Considering a FMR rnp, anyone think this will he a big improvement over blu tube preamp? Trying to avoid upgrading the mics

In my experience changing preamps is the least likely thing to change or improve recording quality if the preamp is being used in its linear range, that is, not overdriven. Two broadband absorbers behind the mics will make a much more noticeable difference.

Somebody gave me a bunch of these for free that are kind of flimsy and seem cheap but I'm wondering if I can trick them somehow around the mic in my area where I record
