Default Oxwood MJ for TAMCO

The most recently finished guitar from my shop and on it's way across the pond. So happy to be working with Trevor and getting my work overseas. Unfortunately, I'm having to put the Base guitars on the back burner for a while. My plan with them was a micro production sort of thing. The problem is there are other builder's sending their designs to Asia and have much lower prices...I can't compete with the amount of work that still goes into them and at the end of the day I'm not willing to cut any corners to speed things up or make it cheaper to build. Perhaps one day I'll have a large space and the ability to hire a small team to produce these. I have a Mahogany/Adi OM coming off the bench next week and that'll be all for now.

Here are some photos to enjoy.

Specs:

Body Shape: MJ
Lower Bout Width: 16"
Scale Length: 25.5"
Frets to the body: 14
Depth @ Tail: 4.875"

Western Red Cedar Top
East Indian Rosewood Back and sides (double sides)
Venetian Cutaway
Curly Maple Binding
Khaya Neck- graphite reinforced and adjustable truss rod
Ebony Fingerboard/Bridge/Headplate
