Just Gorgeous Mike! Congrats to you Bro. I know she will sound as wonderful as she looks. Really love that new headstock design. Jonathan comes through again!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and I know Jonathan appreciates the kudos also. Just remember, all of the ideas were mine, he just added the glue (well sort-of...well....Ok, so maybe I didn't make that large of a contribution after all LOL)

My next build (thread upcoming) will be the smaller version...the FIRST of his new size. I'm looking forward to it as well, but for now I'm just going to enjoy this one. I will post some comments about the tone, playability etc. when I get it next week.

Default Razo #16

Jonathan kindly stopped by my place this morning and brought #16 with him.
Mike, I can assure you that the sound and looks of this guitar are top notch and you won't be disappointed in a few days when you have your hands on her.
Here are a few pictures from this morning (pardon the poor lighting):

Thanks for the pics and the report on the "test drive" Doug. But, I just want to know one thing...WHO is the KID wearing the hat with the "B" on it??

Be sure he is careful with my guitar

Thanks everyone for the kind words, i really appreciate them! I thoroughly enjoyed this build and and working with Mike. The guitar was shipped yesterday and mike should be getting his hands on this baby today. Looking forward to his review and also to the building of my new model for his next guitar, a modern style OMish as well as a modern style parlor-ish are in the works. For now I'll leave the thread with a sneak peek of the final pics.

Jonathan

...and the pictures don't begin to show the story on this one. The fit and finish is spot on, the tone is wonderful and getting better with each strum. For a guitar that has be strung for five days, this baby flay out sings.

I can only begin to imagine what this guitar will sound like in a month or two once it realizes it isn't a stack of wood anymore, it is a GUITAR!

Thumbs up Congratz!

Congratz Mike!!!

I came out of lurking to congratulate you on your new Razo.

It is taking every ounce of strength I have not to get on Mr. Razo's build list.

Sweet Baby Jesus Mr. Razo is a talented luthier!!!

Kind Regards.

Here's another look. I'm yet to see a picture that truly captures this one. This picture doesn't either, but here it is anyway

Also, here are the pictures from Jonathan's Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/RazoGuitars...type=1&theater

I am satisfied that this is one of the most "tonally Pleasing guitars" I've had in my hands.

Thanks to everyone who has made such nice comments about this guitar.

GeeI totally forgot about this thread.

Wow! That's a beauty Mike! Congrats!

There's just something about dark tops that does it for me.
