Default Valhalla Plate Reverb

http://valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/valhalla-plate/

I bought this today because I wasn't happy with the ReaVerb pluggin that comes with Reaper. Oh man. It's all I'm gonna need. And a darned good price. Here's a scratch version of Wayfaring Stranger that uses the plugin on an acoustic guitar and a vocal.

The various Valhalla reverb plug-ins have received virtually universal praise from professionals, amateurs and listeners alike. Their low price is just icing on the cake.

Excellent recording, BTW.

Best I've found to use for good sound and low CPU count is Freeverb Too. The disadvantage is you have to load your own pre-sets, but this was pretty easy by copying them from other program preset lists. (and the price is right!)

As others have said Valhalla enjoys a good reputation
The recording sounds great as is, so take below with a grain as informational only .
Question are you using any Pre Delay ?
Perhaps you already know but on vocal especially using pre delay helps more high end air get thru. If your not using any try experimenting with anywhere from 40 to 90 ms
