Default ES replacement options on my GS8

So I recently bought a used GS8, long story short, gorgeous unplugged tone but the ES leaves much to be desired. Have shortlisted 2 options to replace the ES, which should I go for?

Option 1: Replace ES with Fishman Mtrix Infinity and run it through a fishman aura spectrum DI. Pro is that it is versatile and can be used with other guitars.

Option 2: Install an LR Baggs Anthem. Its the slightly cheaper and more portable option.

Will be using it in a P&W setting, which option would you recommend?

Why not consider this?

Just when I was ready to give up on the ES, I finally managed to dial in a rather pleasing and acoustic tone. Looks like I'll be holding off the pickup swap for a while now.

What I did:

Using my Yamaha ag06 built in parametric eq, I was able to do a deep mids cut from 300-800hz, a slight bass boost at 120hz and a slight treble boost at 3khz to bring out the punch when strumming. On the onboard ES, my treble and bass were at 2 o'clock (assuming centre detent is 12 o'clock). To top it off, used a BBE sonic stomp at very subtle settings (3-4 for both bass and treble), which seems to round off the magnetic sounding trebles, but not too much or it will start to sound processed. Result was quite a pleasing and useable tone.

Any ES1 users had a similar experience?
