Guitar wood collection for sale
Hello
I am selling my fathers collection of guitar wood. He collected this over some years. He trained in Spain at the Romanillos family school. I am a furniture builder and I dont foresee using this wood and doing it justice. All top quality selections. 43 sets of sawn top/soundboard wood almost all of it is master grade: (pretty sure most of this came from the same guy in alaska as the rest of the labeled wood) MG Sitka/curly 14 sets AAA Engelman 2 sets Bearclaw 1 set MG wonderwood 7 sets (alaska sitka) MG Mutant spruce 6 sets (this has lots of nice red tones in it) MG Red curly bear 3 sets (alaska sitka) Really beautiful figured MG alaska sitka 3 sets unsawn blanks 1 mutant spruce (2 sets resawn) 2 white gold engelman (4 sets resawn) Alaskan red cedar 7 sets Tonewood: Rosewood 6 sets (nice range of sets) Cherry 1 set, 1 sides claro walnut 5 sets, 1 extra pair sides (very lively grain and colours, all from the same tree) cuban mahogany 1 set (nice flame and grain) honduran mahogany 2 sets, 3 extra pair sides bubinga 1 set (pretty calm) Flamed highly figured bubinga 1 set (99% sure its bubinga, its stunning) Super nice flatsawn quilted maple 1 set (probably the nicest figured maple I have seen) I would like to sell as a collection if possible. $4800.00 Thanks for looking here is a link to an online album https://goo.gl/photos/u7gnsMFrn5hCz7Se7 Last edited by Lymond; 02-14-2017 at 10:35 PM. |
