Default Single rack space 2-channel effects units

Hello - I'm looking for a 1U 2-channel effects unit with reverb, chorus, maybe delay.

So far, I've looked at ganging a pair of old Alesis half-rack units, some Eventides, and some of the older Boss (and other) programmable units. The goal is to add a little bit of room reverb to add a little space, and maybe chorusing or delay for slower pieces.

Thanks for any recommendations.

these are fairly good sounding rigs, and really easy to program, I especially like the "darkness" reverb preset, but many times they die unexpectantly, lose the light in the display, or lose presets. And oh yeah I had two power supplies go bad. I'm speaking from owning 3 of them and 2 quadraverbs. I don't think they are very road worthy, as I had little to no problems with them in my studio racks.

The reason I had multiple units is that I would program the one in my live rigs with the same user presets I used on my studio recordings.

Yamaha FX500 is half-rack multi-effects. It has been a mainstay in my rig since the early 1990s. Combines distortion, compression, 3-band eq with sweepable mids, modulation and reverb and/or delay. Many useful applications, including acoustic guitar. Lots of information and demos on the internet, mostly electric guitar, but it's an excellent FX unit for acoustic.

I have two and would like to sell one. PM me if you are interested. Very inexpensive.

Alas, I'd need two of the half-rack units - Need to run stereo.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Two separate units can only output dual mono, not stereo. For stereo, a stereo mix bus is required somewhere in your signal chain.
