The Fusion Guitar?
Hi everyone ... is this an Electric guitar? a Digital guitar? An electric on steroids?
Do you even like the concept of attaching a smartphone to the guitar? https://clevergear.rocks/fusion-guit...ts-smartphone/

I would not personally be interested, but it is an intriguing concept.
I don't care one way or the other about the concept. But I do tend to avoid labels

They may sell a few but I can't see any rockers being content with a few small speakers.
We like it loud. Then double it. Besides; we've been using this concept for centuries. It's called the acoustic guitar. |

Asking me ? No ...for travel (car) I just take an acoustic or my electric and my small practice amp. or both.
For practice I use my practice amp for silent HP use, or my main Supro when I do not need to be silent. I tend to subscribe to the practice on what you will be playing (as much as possible) ... school of thought.

Much easier to get a new headless guitar and some sort of external headphone amp. No need to worry about phone compatibility, phone size, etc.

Yah this thing is obsolete the day you get it. Most guitars will keep working fine for decades, this thing is dependent on the most fickle of technologies, the smartphone. Chances are the software it's dependent on won't be supported in 5 or 10 years.
Most of our stuff is unchanging and keeps working forever. Note all the hand wringing about the iPhone dropping the headphone jack. This thing is subject that kind of nonsense. The concepts good I guess but remove the smartphone dependency for sure. And even then it's only going to appeal to a player who has to play out in a place where they can't bring normal electric gear AND refuses to do the right thing and just take an acoustic guitar with them. |

It's pretty neat but not for me. For traveling and hotel rooms I just bring my own guitar and a little Zoom modeller with effect and headphones. That way I'm still using my guitar.
