Default Garota de Ipanema- Blame the Olympics

Had this stuck in my head since Tom Jobim's grandson played it at the Olympic opening.
I can't speak Portuguese (apologies to any Portuguese speakers here..I know there is one who posts brilliant Beatles covers), I'm no bossa nova guitar player either...out of my comfort zone but I had a go regardless.Happy for feedback. Cheers

My hats off to you for learning that!! Get outside that comfort zone! Enjoyed the tune - well done in my opinion. Thank you.

Late to this party.

Very hard to do! Using them jazz chords! I agree with JR.

Hey Sir Flatbaroque ... great achievement....it is not easy at all for an English-American native to sing in Portuguese, specially with Brazilian accent which is far different from the one native from Portugal. You did it fine and I guarantee you that folks here would enjoy it as well. Thanks for sharing and congrats .

Ah Delaorden! - of course it was you I mentioned in my initial post. Thanks for letting me know the Aussie accent wasn't too horrible.I listened to I think a Gilberto Gil version and wrote it out phonetically. Cheers on the feedback.

Timothy L thank you too for listening.
