Default $20 reward given to name a bluegrass band

Right now we are going by the name FRETS . I kinda liked it but a couple guys in the group want to change it .
Some other names were PICAWAY ... Hogan & Company ,,what do ya'll think ? I'm at a loss and have been thinkin on this way too long .. Thanks for any help,,Don
I have decided to offer a reward of special thanks in the amount of 20 bucks to whoever comes up with a name that I can't live without . It has to be free and clear of any other band and .com address . Thanks,,Don

As long as everyone in the group likes a particular name, I don't think it matters much what name you choose. If the music is good enough, the name doesn't matter.

Case in point... one of my favorite bands of all time: Toad the Wet Sprocket.

use one of the many random name generators out there. here's one:
http://www.namenerds.com/uucn/randband.html

it gave me, among others:
Wandering Peg-Legged Farmers

and i like it.

The first 5 responses I got:

Teenage New Placebos
The Lost Poison Postmen
The U.K. Ghetto
Flood of Pork
Chew the Jazzy

I figured after two great names in a row, I'd be pushing my luck to go any further.

boom-bicka-bow-bicka-boom-bicka-bow. Say it out loud, and it even SOUNDS bluegrass!

How bout the Bad Bass Mother Pickers? Glue Brass? I see lots of bluegrass bands that are: ___ and the ____s. (i.e. Shep and the Down Home Pickers, Chuck Paul and the Yippie-Yo Boys, Wild Hank and the Strummers).

Actually, sounds more like a 70's porn soundtrack...

I think you should name it Nickel Creek. They’re breaking up anyway, what do they need it for? Think how many people will show up to your gigs.
