Great tune - learned that a couple songs ago, so can't claim it here. Very last one was an easy one - Howie Day's "Collide"

Second Wind by Billy Joel.

It wasn't even ever one of my favorites. But I heard it in the car the other day when I really needed those lyrics. So when I came home that night, I picked it out.

Funny I played it for my husband and he said, "Wow! Did you just WRITE that?" Ha ha. I guess he thought it applied to the present stituation, too. I've been getting kicked around emotionally a bit lately. Sometimes I forget that people do bad, unprofessional things - and that I should just learn a lesson about them instead of taking it personally. It's ok. Getting my second wind now!

Or, do I count that I have been practicing "El Mestre" by Manuel Llobet for 3 hours a day, every day, for 7 weeks?

No, I am not exagerating either. I wish I were. I am about to lose my mind, or find it, I don't know which. But I guess no, it isn't the last piece I learned, as it isn't "learned" yet. It has been memorized for a while, but unfortunately it is still horrifyingly, depressingly technically bad, while managing to be unbelieveably unmusical at the same time.

Did I mention that I am bummed out about this?

"You're beautiful" by James Blunt.

Next project is "Down to the river to pray" which I have heard played by Alison Krauss.
