Default Eastman Pagelli tailpiece hanger

Looks like it's a shoelace glued on under the tailpiece. why don't they use a real Benedetto style Saconni hanger with the barrel adjusters?

I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to there, but if there's 6 things I know about archtops, it's that you get what you pay for.
