About Schatten HFN artist pickup

I know that the preamp of this pickup support 2nd source and provide separate gain control for it. However, I'm confused about the output jack. Do I still need to blender to combine the signal or told own preamp already combined as mono output?

Two sources are blended in the internal preamp and sent to the tip connector of jack output.
Ring connector can be used for external power supply (battery or phantom).
