Default New acoustic music (Using a Lowden F35c) - Looking for a small favour.

Hey Folks
Just looking for a small tiny tiny favour.

Recently I released my debut album which I completed independently without any record label or manager etc.

I play a Lowden F35c Cocobolo / Spruce
I hired 14 musicians, recorded at Brighton Electric by a local mercury-nominated producer.

I am extremely proud of this work, it took me around 2 years, from the songwriting, to recording to releasing.

The favour I am asking is for you to simply take a listen on YouTube, or Spotify it's all free isn't it.
🙂
I hope you enjoy my music

Thank you lovely people
Kev

Hi Kev,

Just listened to Dark Stars and quite enjoyed it. I'll listen to the rest when I have more time.

Well done!

Dave

I liked your feature piece, Dark Stars, best. I thought it was really well produced. Clean. Your voice is really good and the guitar work is that kind of mellow tone I enjoy that avoids feeling sappy or too much like the pop music twelve-year-old girls like. I'd choose you in my headphones over Justin Bieber or Justin Timberlake every time given the choice. I also liked Just Another Day. That one had just a hint of a Beatles feel to it. I'm not sure how I got that impression, but that's what came to my mind.

I can picture Dark Stars in a movie soundtrack. It would go well with scenes that need a contemplative, mellow mood.

I thought it was fantastic. My only "criticism" is that your very fine guitar playing gets a little bit buried, especially when the song starts out. I feel like the guitar could have been just a little bit boosted. But this is a minor quibble. Great job!
