Gibson nut width question
What is the nut width on the Gibson J-200 models?
Do most Gibson's have 1 11/16 or 1.75 or something else?

I believe the standard nut width on Gibsons is 1-23/32"

So a tiny smidge more than 1 11/16ths ... about 1.70??
Okay, thanks.

1.725" nut width is pretty standard I believe.
http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Acou...ard/Specs.aspx My AJ has 1.725" nut, 2.125" fingerboard width at the 12th fret, and string spacing of slightly less than 2.1875" per my recent measurements. But it is their 'Mod V' neck. The J200 uses a different, more rounded profile IIRC.

Thanks .. just the page I was looking for. I played (an loved!) an SJ-200 TV and was afraid that if it had a 1 11/16 inch nut, I was going to feel foolish after all these years of insisting I couldn't abide a guitar with a narrow nut.
