Default Anyone having a problem with amazon pop up.

Every time I try to read posts, a pop up appears from something like “ icardib.club.amazon......” and I cannot close it out. If I hit the “ go back” arrow on my browser, the main forum page reloads - followed again by the pop up - if I click on “close” in the pop up box I get one of those bogus messages that I won something, but there is no way to close out the pop up without completely leaving the forum page. Then if I log back in, the same pop up appears again almost immediately.

I use a Add blocker which works well with those types of pop ups

Really pissing me off - starts out “ congratulations amazon.com user” it occasionally lets me click on the reply button if I do it fast enough, which has enabled me to write these posts, but has caught me several times even while writing this reply, just not consistently every time like other pages

How do you clear cookies I’m on an iPad
Settings--Safari---Clear History and Website Data

You'll probably want to install a content blocker like Purify from the App Store until we can get Google to remove the misbehaving ad (which they are sometimes slow to do).

I use Ad Block Plus in Chrome and have never seen that ad ever - I get no popups ever.

This happens to me, and I finally started using the Tapatalk app for my forum surfing. Have not had any pop ups while using the app.

Jeremy, I have done what you suggest on my iPad and it’s still happening. I’m lucky to be able to post this.

To be sure, you cleared your Safari cookies and installed and configured a content blocker? I am running the Purify content blocker and am not experiencing the issue.

If you are using a different browser other than Safari, you will continue to experience the issue unless you download/purchase a content/ad blocker that works across the entire device.

You can also install the AGF app or Tapatalk to get around it.

This has happened to my wife and I.

We got scared that data of ours would be stolen... so we reset our ipads and reinstalled apps we wanted from new.

PITA... but clearing safari did not work.

I’ve been using Purify Ad Blocker for quite a while and this never happens to me. Its easy to install and invisible during use.
