Default An original train song. Comments welcomed. Outdated Mode

This is a song I wrote late last week for a friendly competition. The theme was "modes" and could cover anything mode related, from musical modes, to modes of travel, to modes of thought, etc. I decided to take the "modes of travel route" and go with a train song. The song is fairly simple and displays my horrible mandolin playing and my bad singing as always, but it was a lot of fun to write and record. Thoughts and comments are welcomed.

That was very nicely done. How did you do in the competition?

Thanks for that. Brings back a lot of memories growing up 1/2 mile from the B&O in southern Illinois. Ended up retiring from the Union Pacific.

Nothing like listening to the sound of a steam whistle coming through the window on a hot summer night. Good times.

Thanks everyone! I did end up winning! It was a small group and you don't get anything but bragging rights for winning, but it feels good to win on my first try.
