Default drop G swing study #1416

Written in february 2013, the 1416th Drop G Swing Study, "Carolina Binaire".
The intro rhythm is characteristic of the thumb work in those studies.

On a very plain (and inexpensive) Sigma 000M 15s, a small body 12 fret all mahogany triple 0, with a Sunrise PU.

Enjoy.

Very nice. The pickup works well to round out and give heft to the sound of the smallish sized guitar.

I gotta hunch this is exactly what I'd say, if I could say it.

Wonderful. And thank you for the excellent close-ups of what is happening with your hands.

Thanks guy.

rick-slo : I use magnetic PU on all my guitar precisely because this allows access to a palette of different sounds in no time. On very average guitars.

raggedy mike : I must admit that my thumb is an old friend of mine.

Silly Moustache : c'est bon de l'entendre en français.
(and BTW, I love you videos)

H165 : I'll tell you a secret : I just discovered the benefits of the Ken Burns effect in iMovie. Hence the close-up.

Thanks guys.

Those Drop G Swing Studies will be lost if I don't document the work in some way. But I'm learning some other instruments, that takes time.
I have to be consistent in my You Tube videos. (Wish me luck...)
