What would be favorites from the first book?

I already have a lot of Carcassi studies, scales, and basic exercises. I don't really want to download all the very basic exercises. However, anything musically satisfying would be worth downloading and printing to compliment my other materials.

I wouldnt know. I never played Carcasi studies and i only played the first book of Sagreras 20 years ago. Maybe the OP Timothy Lawler could answer that.

I had heard that the copyright recently expired. What's the duration... 70 something years? Don't remember. But yeah, it's in the public domain. I believe though that recent printings, like the Mel Bay collection, are still protected re direct copies for distribution. Anybody know the technicalities of that? At 25 bucks, the melbay printing of the combined books 1-3 is probably cheaper than if you found pdfs, downloaded, printed, and had them spiral bound at a copy shop, heh.

Thanks! I will check these out. I really enjoyed your Youtube videos. You're obviously a very accomplished player.

We had David Russell play here this past Sunday. Wonderful & amazing! I am riding a classical guitar high right now!
