Default NO LONGER FOR SALE John Osthoff AS-C 2004

Sorry, but I have changed my mind for now...
This sale is for a John Osthoff handmade acoustic guitar. New, it would cost just under $7000! It is in excellent shape, but does have some "pings" on it as it was played respectfully. There is a slight bubble at the "D" string tuner - very slight. They would not show up in the photos. Besides being visually stunning, its sound has opened into a reverberating tone machine! It has an undersaddle B-Band pickup in it and an Olsen style neck.

This superb guitar has opened up and is very well balanced. It is an excellent, hand made guitar that will put a smile on your face! I would entertain a trade. Treat yourself to a true, handmade acoustic!

Adirondack top, very even grained, with cutaway and dovetail joints

Matched set of highly figured "waterfall" or "beeswing" Mahogany

Grand Auditorium design with James Olsen style 5 piece neck

Brazilian Rosewood binding, headstock veneer and rosette

BWBW purflings

Unbound ebony fretboard with nickel frets

Schaller tuning machines with ebony buttons

1 11/16" nut but actually feels larger

20 " body length

12" width upper bout

4 5/8th" depth at endpin

25.4" scale length

Bone nut and bone saddle

B-Band undersaddle pickup

I can vouch for this outstanding guitar....Sean acquired it from me in a trade several months ago...and it is one that I wish I had not let go of. Had I not recently acquired a couple of new acoustics myself...I would be looking at this one again. Outstanding craftsmanship, and the tone....unbelievable.
This is a mighty fine guitar here folks...
