Default 2022 Furch Orange OM-SR short scale burst

Sold

2022 Furch Orange OM-SR short scale with burst finish. Rosewood back and sides, spruce top all solid premium woods

Higher-end Furch OM Orange model with beautiful burst finish and rare short scale (~24 5/8 inches measured from nut base to 12 fret x2). 1 3/4" nut. Comes with Furch Hiscox case.

Bought this off of forum member, some string wear but otherwise in excellent plus condition. Realized I prefer mahogany over rosewood. Kept with humidity control and I've always played with long sleeves (guitar on hanger just for pictures).

Please message with any questions or if want more pics!

My recording setup/playing doesn't do it justice but here's a quick flatpicking sample:

I agree. If my stable wasn't full I would be all over this.

Default Short scale

Hi, I have been shopping for a short scale guitar. I've been mostly looking at Taylor concert guitars, but your Furch caught my eye. Do you have any source that corroborates the 24.5"scale length? The official Furch page only lists their 25 9/16 scale length version. I cannot seem to find any online info about the Furch short scale guitars.

Do you have any fingerpicking demos with this guitar? Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your message. It’s a custom short scale, they don’t offer it anymore. I did the measurement as suggested from web searches to calculate the scale length. I can work on getting some fingerpicking samples.

I redid the measurement using the length from base of nut to middle of the 12th fret x2 and got 24 5/8in.

I did the same with my Taylor 512e grand concert 12 fret and it came out 24 7/8 which is what’s listed. So slightly shorter than Taylor’s

Great, thank you for re-measuring. I have been shopping the x12 series from Taylor, so that is a helpful reference.
