Default Journey Instruments RT410 Travel Guitar SOLD

Up for sale is my Journey Instruments Road Trip RT410. This is a fantastic travel guitar that has a tone of volume, tone and playability in a smaller, more portable package. Unlike many other popular smaller bodied travel guitars, the Road Trip has a standard scale length (24.5") and a 1.75" nut width.

As with all Journey Instruments, this guitar features the "Manzer Wedge" body shape, adding volume to the smaller body size and also slightly angling the guitar back to you for easier playability and sound projection. Other features and specs include-
  • Solid Sitka Spruce Top, Satin Finish
  • Scalloped, Forward Shifted X Bracing
  • Layered Sapele Back and Sides, Satin Finish
  • Flame Maple Body Binding
  • Rosewood Bound Mahogany Neck w. Satin Finish
  • Rosewood Fingerboard and Bridge
  • Bone Nut and Saddle
  • 1 3/4" Nut Width, 2 1/4" String Spacing at the Saddle
  • 24.5 Inch Scale
  • Equipped with K&K Style, Triple Piezo Under-Bridge Pickup System
  • Overall Length-36 Inches, Lower Bout Width 14.5 Inches
  • Backpack Style Gigbag Included, Tons of Storage and Included Raincover

I bought this guitar new from Ted at LA Guitar Sales and he hand picked this one out for me. It is in as new condition, with no dings, dents, etc. It is a great guitar for travel, and is equipped with a great sounding pickup if you find an open mic to join in on while you're on the road. I'm asking $329, (dropped to $275!) shipped UPS or FedEx ground in the US. Paypal payment. Please reply or PM me if you have any questions.

This shows the "Manzer wedge" body profile

Added a profile picture to show the wedge shape of the body-definitely adds volume to a smaller guitar. Please feel free to PM me with any questions.

I'm curious, when you bought this,
how did you decide on this model vs the removable neck model?

I was looking for something similar to a GS Mini, but with a 1.75" nut width. The removable neck wasn't important to me as I mostly travel with my guitars in the car and not on a plane. Thanks!
