Default Are there any guitars that have exactly 25" scale length?

Or would you have to do a custom build? Would that be the best of or worst of both worlds to have something in between a short-scale and standard scale guitar?

My Froggy Bottom H12 has a 25" scale - many Froggys do.
And short scale Gibson is 24.75, but short scale Martin is 24.9.

I know the Eastman OMs do. Possibly other body styles as well, though I haven't checked that.

Looking for exactly 25. Do you feel the scale on the Froggy is a good compromise?

I don't think the Eastman's do. I think they are 24.9.

Since the scale quote on the FB guitar the poster owned was 25", I don't see how this is a "compromise."

Simon Fay's standard OM is also 25".

yeah their OM are in fact 000's @ 25 inches they are 1/10" from being a 000 but 4/10" away from being an OM - they're 000's
As SS says, quite possibly other models also, they're Web site has had and still has errors re - specification.

Most of the early Yamaha FG models have a 25" scale. Eastman as well.

Wouldn't call it a compromise - it's just the scale of my Froggy (& of many others).
A very easy playing guitar all around.
I prefer short scale guitars - all except my Martin are short scale, and the Froggy fits that comfort zone to a "T".

Hi pz…

I have a fanned fret where the 1st string is exactly 25", but the 6th string is 25.75". It has a rich, full, very present bass (without being boomy), and the treble is very sweet, and the over all tone very creamy (due to Myrtlewood/Italian Spruce).

I think this is truly the best of both worlds.

The high-end, old Harmony guitars:
* The Sovereigns (H1260 & H1203),
* The H162 and H165.

by compromise I meant between the attributes of standard and shorter scale guitar as it relates tension, ability to reach chords and projection of sound. Those are sometimes reasons one chooses scale length.

My Eastman E6OM is 25" scale. Both my Gretsch resos are as well.

Oddly, I dont really feel it as much on the OM as I do on the resos - probably due to their small bodies and 12 fret.

Maybe 25.2 would be the sweet spot.
