odd collection
I came across this "Vintage Guitar" feature that offers "a look at 50 modern acoustics":
http://www.vintageguitar.com/wp-cont...VGMNOV2015.pdf I just don't get this collection as there is no comment and no price provided. They seem to span from basic entry level to high-end, from fairly common brand to never heard of. What do they have in common? - For me that I have not played any of them in person. Is that one person's collection, or a random gathering of instruments put in an article? Either way, it covers quite the spectrum of different style/sounding/looking/built instruments. There are a few in there I wouldn't mind owning.

Weird collection of guitars. Never heard of many of them.

The article says that they are just looking at 50 modern acoustic guitars. Nothing more. Nothing less. Frankly, I was surprised to see so many different brands. I thought it was an interesting piece. Thanks for posting.

I stopped buying acoustic guitar magazine in part because of the useless guitar shoot outs where they compared 10 guitars ranging in price from $200 - several thousands. I don't see the point.

A few folks on this board think my collection is odd.....not to mention borderline obsessive.
