Back to the actual OP, I like "Be Mine" by David Gray and wish I could play "Crush" by Dave Matthews but I struggle with all the funky chords.

For Valentine's day I played this song at our senior center and the crowd got a big laugh out of it...

Witch Doctor by David Seville 1958

I told the witch doctor I was in love with you

I told the witch doctor I was in love with you

then the witch doctor told me what to do, he said,

OO EE OO AH AH, TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG

OO EE OO AH AH, TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG...

It's a tongue twister and takes a bit of practice, but the crowd loved it.

I know it's already been mentioned but I just got the tab/chords to "Longer" by Dan Fogelberg. It will be my first open G tuning.

Wow. I had totally forgotten about this! Such a great little moment.

For those who didn't, it is totally worth watching all the way through.

Oh, and here's mine. "Ours", really. Goes all the way back to our 3rd date.

I do play 'normal' chords under it

Cheesy, I know, but I just wrote this song for my wife. It's about the story of us. I'm not a good enough guitar player yet to play it like I hear it in my head but here is a simple version.

HA!!! I was thinking it, but didn't say it. And "longer than there's been fishes in the ocean"?!? So many bad lyrics in such a pretty song. I loved Fogelberg. Great all around songwriter and musician, but he would occasionally have a weird lyric in a great song where it appeared he was just stumped to come up with something decent. In Same Old Lang Syne, he has a line "She would have liked to say she loved the man, But she didn't like to lie". Really?
