Schiller Grand Tune Opinions
Trying to research the Schaller grand tune and doesn't look like there's much info on them. They seem fairly new? I found a post about one breaking on a build. I'm trying to decide between the Schaller or Waverly's.
I think the Schaller are more aesthetically pleasing and the 18:1 ratio sounds nice but the Waverly's are time tested and classic. These are going on a Martin HD-16. What do you all think? |

No personal experience with Grand Tunes, but have heard nothing but good things about them. I believe there is a builder here on the forum that uses them, and recommends them. I also like the way they look better than the Waverly's. As "nice" as the Waverly's are, they tend to get pretty mixed reviews.

I have some on order. I'll let you know what I think of them when they arrive.

These:
And planning to order a few sets of these for upcoming Evo guitars: The Koa buttons also look very nice for the steel string versions.
