Default Medieval inspiration played on an acoustic guitar

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qos2q...ature=youtu.be

This new composition is played in a medieval style on the first part and in a modern variation on the second. The guitar is an exceptional F25th anniversary limited edition made by George Lowden. The "Gascogne" is a very nice part of south of France famous at medieval time, country of Troubadours. The guitarist Christian Laborde who gave me the inspiration of that composition is a very good guitar composer. Bernie Revel

That was beautiful. I really enjoyed listening and watching.

Great location too - loved the artwork in the background.

+1 if the sheet music or tablature is available...

Bernard,

That was a really lovely piece and played very well. I enjoyed your video very much. In fact, it was totally delightful. And the guitar sounded exceptionally good. I too will look forward to seeing the tablature when it's available.

Bernard,

Very nice work, my friend. Excellent composition, the guitar sounds great, and nice video too! Can't do much better than that!

One of these days I hope to try a Lowden. They always sound very nice when I hear them.

Hello Bernard,

Very beautiful playing! I do love the sound of medieval/renaissance music on the steel string guitar - I think the music and the instrument are a perfect combination - and you do it total justice. I looked at your YouTube channel, and I'd love to see more of your playing there. Keep us posted here.

Jack

Hi Jack, thanks a lot for your message. I'm very happy finding somebody who likes the early guitar style.
I give you some links. I recorded in an english renaissance style the song "Robin".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3sju4P_B7E
and in the baritone guitar tuning (sounds like an E renaissance seven course lute) a composition on my George Lowden 7 strings.

Have a nice day. Bernie

Just had to stream it twice because it was so nice. Great control and what beautifull sound too. Love those medieval tunes, a fresh breath amongst modern day contempory styles, well played!
Your consequetive links were superb too, loved your own more modern compositions and now I have to get a Lowden too.

Ludwig

Thank you for sharing those links. I loved both of them, especially your composition "The Slip Garden." The Lowden guitars sound so beautiful. Music is certainly the key to life.
