Default Agustín Barrios | Preludio Saudade (La Catedral)

Hello, I've recorded another piece on guitar, this time the first movement from La Catedral.

Let me know what you think!

I checked the chord and yes it's wrong! I play C# on the fourth string and it's be B. Thank you!

You are welcome but...
since you like difficult pieces try the study no 1 from VILLA LOBOS at 120 metronome speed

I've already played it (slower than 120 bpm I believe), but I only remember the beginning... I have to review it

That one chord has already been discussed so no worries there.

I really enjoyed this. This is one of my favorite Barrios pieces and was one of my mainstays in my classical days. I liked your rendition, and you have a very strong tone. Well done.

Default Bravo!

I love this piece so much! Such a masterpiece, all three movements
You did a very nice job using some rubato and dynamics, although I would personally not stretch the time too far with this piece...none the less it was very musical and a pleasure to listen to. If I am not too bold in making a technical suggestion, consider keeping your palm a bit closer to the fretboard... @ 1:22 your pinky is in an awkward position and should be a bit more curved so the power of the finger is centered more on the tip rather than across the middle knuckle. This would help in relieving stress in your left hand considerably.

Thank you for the technical suggestions
