Zoom Q2N-4K recorder
Just curious if any folks have or have used one of these? I welcome your feedback…..no pun intended!

I used one about six years back or so. It was easy to use, recorded well, and was nice for recording a gig, except for it devoured batteries. Be sure for an important gig, that it is plugged in.
This is realistically what it looks and sounds like. My home office practicing:

The fisheye thing with the music video recorders is one of the things I dislike about them.

Could be handy I guess. But ultimately this kind of all-in-one set up is going to be a pretty big compromise in sound for many things because ideally you would most often want the microphones to be pretty close to the source, with the camera several feet or more back from them. I'd personally much rather use an audio-only Zoom recorder of some kind and just an iPhone for the video and easily combine them later in post in something like GarageBand.

There are multiple FOV settings (field of view) that can get around the fish-eye. And there's a mic in with plug-in power so you can have an external mic closer to the source. With enough persistence you can probably get an external preamp working through that mic input.
