SOLD --Perfect Lowden F35X for Sale
I am selling an absolutely stunning Lowden F35X. If you know fingerstyle guitar, then you know Lowden. And if you know Lowden, you probably know that Redwood top / Walnut back and sides is George Lowden’s favorite wood combination.
This instrument, serial number 16131, has a build date of 1/5/08. The body style, F, is not quite as big as the jumbo O size, and the X in the designation indicates the upgraded wood combination. This combination has a richness that I usually associate with cedar/rosewood, but a little less “dark”. It rings very nicely! Redwood is said to have a faster response than cedar and the walnut gives a little more focus to the overtones, more clarity and definition. The walnut grain is beautiful – wavy without being too weird! The top has very tight grain and a deep, rich color. It is in virtually unplayed condition -- there is literally not a mark on this guitar. Comes with an upgraded Hiscox case. Order it from George today and it will set you back in excess of $6,500.
