Hi BG 63,

I like it! Nice theme, good consistent guitar backing.

For your consideration-- little more variation in the dynamics, maybe even a bridge?

Good work!!!

I appreciate it....like I said, brand new to songwriting-I barely know what a verse, chorus and bridge even are....

I really like the song premise, and your verses are nicely developed, too. Get your wife to be quiet next time you record <grin>.

It's already been suggested that you put a bridge in, and probably an instrumental break, too. I think that would really help the dynamics.

I think this is one of those songs that I would be singing along to, every time I heard it! Great piece!

Thanks guys and 10-4 on the wife being quiet. I had accidentally knocked over a vase before I went into the music room and shut the door and, of course, 3/4 of the way through the song she pops in and ask what I broke....I need a "recording in progress" sign lol

It takes a little experience for everyone to know that they need to be quiet during a recording. I was recently recording a bell choir at a church, and it took a while for the bell ringers to understand that they can't be talking during the recording.

With practice and experience, everyone and everything will get better.
