Agreed! I was pretty flabbergasted when I saw the board that this set came from. I was at my local exotic wood supplier where I get a lot of my stuff and there were two boards 10" wide and perfectly quartered all the way across, with little to no defects all the way up and down, just sitting there for the taking. It was a joy to work with.

I hope I'm not being redundant here, but I took some final pics of the two guitars that I took to Woodstock, and here they are.

I was definitely under the weather the weekend of the show, which put a damper on things for me at the show. However, I was determined to give it my best and not let the opportunity to be at the show pass me by. Fortunately, I had my Dad there to help on Saturday while I stayed back at the rental house, as well as drive the 9 hours to and from Ohio. He has always been a shining example of selflessness and willingness to help, and that weekend was no exception.

Hey Tom, we were in the main building, right next to Bruce Sexaur. I also missed some builders that I really wanted to see. It seems difficult to really take it all in and not miss something. Next year!

Thanks Marcus! Mike is definitely connected to the instrument in a special way. And hey, exciting news about your new business venture! Looks like you've got some amazing builders that you're working with already. What a great start!
