Default Silver Bullet Solo + Para DI?

Just curious if anyone here has tried using the K&K Silver Bullet Solo (mic only and no preamp) hooked into a Para DI (or other preamp/eq driver box)... if so, how did you like the end results?

That won't work. The microphone needs 9v phantom power. The PADI doesn't provide that.

So the Gigpro and/or Mixpro would be better suited then, right?

Yes, the GigPro of MixPro would suffice. The GigPro would allow addition of a second source.

Really? I thought the MixPro was the one that has the ability to do dual-source. Of course, it looks like you have to use the special jack from LR Baggs...

You're right, it's the MixPro that allows a dual source. I have one for certain occasions. It will do in a pinch.
