This test is not so much which one sounds "better" because that is too subjective and each to their own, but more for me, the difference in overall tone the woods inject.
Sure... wasn't implying one was better over another, they're both amazing. Just a human being, with a preference, for my particular syle if one can call it that, that's all.

Oh yeah, no problem, I did not think you were implying anything, sorry if you thought I did. I was just building off what you said. You can like one over the other, that is fine, that is what makes it all good hahaha!!!! Besides, you said you would take them both to the island!!!!

Here is a series of pictures routing the body and fitting the neck: I think it is all self explanatory I hope.

To bad we have to cover up that beautiful grain of the neck with a fret board, but little choice there!

I thought someone would ask about the construction of the neck and how it is being joined to the body. I have seen a lot of builds and this is a different method than I have seen employed before. It is a very strong construct and is bolted in more than the usual places. Ben also let me know he is using titanium hardware for this for the first time which is cutting down the weight by about 37 grams.

Yes, you are certainly right, but it was shown with the finger board on it so it was not quite as clear to me, but it is there.

I thought a picture was worth a thousand words, has inflation hit that too???

And I feel comfortable in confirming your suspicions...he is likeable, likely needs to be committed and is good for his craft and customers!!!

More pictures of the neck, this time final fitting. Ben does a smooth transition from the cutaway to the heel with little to no reveal, looks like he nailed it:

That mahogany really makes a great match with the rosewood!

Love the seamless transition...
