Default Need to identify this bolt size

I need to know the size of this machine bolt so I can order two knurled thumb bolts the same size/thread. I matched the thread to a 8-32 bolt (the one on the right) but what is the diameter? Is it a 10-32 machine bolt or is it larger? Thanks for any help you might offer ...

Go to Home Depot & use their bolt sizing fixture. It could be metric, so better safe by checking it.

Cheers,

Most likely a 10-32,it looks a bit bigger to me. Know nuts also are a good way to match up threads. Metrics can throw a curve, especially when just using the eyeball as a measuring tool. I think Kev set you up.

looks like 10-32 to me, but do check with some sort of gauge or a known nut. auto zone, home depot, osh, etc...

I go for a 10-32 also. Don't think it is 1/4". Now looking at it again, maybe. Ahhh.... !! I hate these trick questions.
