Collings CJmhG
SOLD
I have a 2012 Collings CJ in mahogany with a German spruce top. 1-3/4" nut, no tongue brace, and adirondack braces. It is a fine guitar but not quite the vintage vibe I'm currently going for. Big rumbling bass, piano-like response all over the fretboard, and really sweet sounding altogether. The German top is a nice addition to the mahogany and gives it a bit more headroom so you can dig in. This is also less forward sounding than many Collings guitars I've owned/played. It has two small dents on the back (bass side) and the vaguest hint of fretwear otherwise, it's in excellent shape overall. Comes with the OHSC that's also in great shape. **Note - The bone bridge pins shown in the pics have been replaced with the original ebony pins. PM me with any questions, thanks!
