Arrow 2011 Huss & Dalton 00-Custom TRADED - No longer available

This guitar is no longer available. Traded.

For sale Or trade is my dead mint 2011 Huss & Dalton 00-Custom acoustic guitar with K&K Pure Mini pick up with volume control. This guitar is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful sunburst finish. The condition is as near perfect as you can get. No scratches or marks of any kind that I can find. Woods are Englemann Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides with a beautiful tone that is incredibly responsive to the lightest fingerstyle playing but handles strumming just as well.

Binding is also Indian Rosewood. Bridge and fretboard are ebony with slottled square abalone inlays. Paddle style head stock with 1129 Waverly tuners. Nut width is 1 3/4", string spacing is 2 5/16", short scale of 24.9". Standard (and might I say, beautiful) tweed H&D hard shell case is included. Serial number is 3299 with a born-on day of June 22, 2011.

I am looking for interesting trades. I prefer 0 and 00-sized, 12-fret guitars with wider nut widths of 1 7/8". An 000-28VS with 1 13/16" would be interesting as well. But I'm open to all trades of similar value or money going one way or the other to make it even. Also interested in certain carbon fiber guitars.

I'll sell the guitar for $3,200 (includes shipping & insurance). $100 discount if you don't use PayPal. Yes, I hate PayPal.

Let me know what you got. PM or email me (email is my profile).

Update: Lot's of people asked for another video/sound sample showing how the guitar sounds with a pick and/or strumming. I don't play well with a pick but I made another short video below. A few more people asked about the small 'dent' I talked about in the first video. It's a tiny indentation in the wood itself, a flaw, if you will, that the gloss goes down into. Under magnification you can tell it was not from any contact but just part of wood itself. You can see this mark very well at 1:29 in the video in the reflection of the lamp in the high gloss finish.

New photos added (thanks to Gkiller for the 'killer photos'!):

Here's a few quick photos I took but I can give you more if you need.

All PMs answered. A couple clarifications from common questions:

There is no clear pickguard.
The controller in the photos above is for the Fishman that was removed. The new K&K has a much smaller volume control in approximately the same area.
The K&K system uses no battery.
The neck profile is a nice C shape, not too thick, not too thin, very comfortable.

Any more questions, let me know. I can also take new photos of specific areas is needed.

Bougsom,

Thanks. I hear great things about the CEO-7. I'm sure you'll love it.

I have answered all PM's about the guitar. I have a bunch of other, better photos that I can email to anyone interested, just PM me your email or post it here.

I will say that there are several people interested here but it's currently in the hands of a local pro who is evaluating it for purchase and obviously if I can sell it locally and avoid shipping that would be preferable.

I will post back here once he decides. But in the meantime, I would be happy to send out the photos to anyone that wants them.

Local sale did not happen. This guitar is still for sale/trade. New and better photos added (thanks Gkiller), sale price only until other guitar sells then back to regular price.

Clarification:

Someone asked about the closeup photo of the sound hole that shows the Fishman volume/tone controller - these photos were taken before the installation of the K&K Pure Mini. The K&K system I put in does have a volume control and is located the same place as the Fishman in the photo. Looking straight on at the sound hole it is nearly invisible, but easy to access while playing.

Lot's of interest now, keep those trade ideas coming!

Folks....this is one that somebody should snap up pretty darn quick! As the previous owner of the guitar (the smaller body size just did not fit me well...I was looking for a larger body), I can vouch for the near-mint condition of this beautiful guitar. The burst finish is to die for...one of the best I have seen. The sound and playability are what you would expect from an exceptional builder like H&D.

Scott is a very respectable guy and an excellent musician...have no concerns about a straight-up deal with him.

I can't believe this one is still here....this one is a deal waiting to happen!

Me neither...I have seriously considered buying it back! However, need a larger body acoustic.

So...let me get this right....
1. Huss & Dalton. Phenomenal builders with excellent reputation
2. Mint Condition.
3. Stunning Burst finish.
4. Exceptional sound and playability.
5. Established seller with great reputation
6. OUTSTANDING PRICE!

So...WHY IS THIS GUITAR STILL HERE?
