Default Which pickup?

Hi all
I've tried most of the big boy pickups...Matrix, M1, K&K, Amulet M. There isn't one pickup I like less than the others. I just got a new D28 and am really tring to figure out what pickup to put in it. I will be playing either solo, duo, or with a full rock band, so I need something to cover all those grounds. currently I have a 000-15 with K&K, a J45 with the Amulet and have had a d35 with a Matrix and a 0000-38 with a M1. I really would like to avoid a soundhole pickup as I find them detrimental to the natural sound of the guitar, as pleasing as they may be plugged in. Right now the main contenders are K&K, Matrix, and Amulet M. I am really thinking that the Matrix and an Aura pedal will be the best all around option for me, but would like to hear the opinions of others. When I am playing solo or duo I will most likely be using a 57 or other external mic in combination with the pickup to get the most out of the sound.
Thanks

K&K all the way for me - I have 'em in quite a few guitars, and they all sound at least good, all the way up to great. I prefer simple setups though, and avoid any signal processing at all (other than basic eq from a K&K PureXLR preamp) when I play acoustic through the PA. A bit tougher to dial in but a more natural acoustic sound I think.

Ever considered the stereo Amulet? Top notch, robust, and easy.

with a full rock band, I'd stay away from any soundboard transducer - ie the K&K or the Amulet. They are a recipe for feedback.

Respectfully, they actually are not - at least from my experience. Having the ability to reverse phase on these soundboard transducers (with a preamp or on the board/amp) makes them very feedback resistant. Ymmv
