Thanks Dan.
Yes, this is a fantastic guitar and yes, I stand to lose $1000+ at this price.
But, what the heck.

Default Brazilian almost done.

The facts are that Brazilian Rosewood supplies will soon be exhausted.
Most of the big box producers such as Martin, "Taylor, etc. have already used them up or are saving a few sets for custom builds, they can overcharge.

I spoke with several one man master luthiers who have a stash of Braz. Those prices to the consumer is escalating like crazy. Up charges on Braz is $4-10k per set from these master builders.

my point is;
1. I am crazy to sell this at this price.
2. This is an opportunity to latch on to high end guitar at mid-range prices.
3. This is my final price offering.
4. I am having it setup as we speak.
5. Soon it will go to consignment and the price will be increased by 20%.
6. If you are sitting on the fence now is the time to jump off.

If funds are low we can work out a payment plan.

Wink Oh so tempting...

since I just traded my Hamblin SJ! But I am truly enjoying my Brazilian Edmonds and none of us really need another guitar. Yeah right!

I have 5 great makes in my cabinet now and had 10 others in and out over the last 2 years alone. So for anybody on the fence, in my experience Hamblin is at the top of the list in build quality, tone and playability. This one has to be amazing. GLWTS and if it's here much longer I may take you up on that payment plan!

JD...Six guitars will require you to have a guitar closet. That cabinet of yours is way too small. Plus, a closet allows for room for more.

Dave and Rick,
Have some bills to clear. I know, I know.

It's at honolulu's finest getting a setup/tuneup just because. It'll comeback with all the stuff you'd expect from a pro setup and then some.
Such as, tuners lubed, frets dressed and crowned, pins setup for proper break angle. Intonation adjustments. Etc

Haha, I may change my mind.

The back of this guitar in the daylight really shows off the quality of the Brazilian used... its quite a great looking and sounding guitar....

The front is not too shabby either....

Why is this guitar still here ?

I'm pretty sure I made a very nice Ivory saddle for this one before I traded it out to Alan last year...

Dan, that is absolutely correct. The ivory saddle was confirmed today by my luthier. He said I'd better play this gem for awhile before I release it.
