Default The Riverside

I have really been hooked by this genre of music. Here is an acoustic rendition of By the Riverside in DADGAD tuning. I also added a tambourine and some background harmonies as well. Played this on the Gibson Songwriter deluxe. It was above a 100 degrees today and I recorded this in the man cave above the barn and the air was not keeping up, so it was really hot up their. Also, I could not get this video to embed so if anyone has any tips on that let me know. Bud

Hey Bud this one was really cool, like the background voices a lot. Great song and rendition.

I'm probably one of the few that hasn't heard the original. I like this a lot, very powerful and moving. Understated but effective background harmonies and a dynamic vocal with that pulsating beat.
Bud, the sincerity and emotion pours out and the whole thing is excellent.
I'm off to play it again!

Sal, Thanks for embedding the video. What script did you use to do that ? I used to be able to get it to work but the old script does not seem to work. Bud

Thanks much for the positive feedback and I am really glad you enjoyed this rendition as it is quite a bit different from the original. Bud
