Question Open C? (Anaïs Mitchell & Jefferson Hamer - Geordie (Child Ballads))

Do you think Jefferson is in open c here? When they check tuning at 0.53 Anaïs seems to strum a C chord (standard G shape capo'd at 5) to his open strum.

Tune up your guitar right with him at the start of the video.

That's not a bad idea

I was having a pre trying to learn it think about and didn't have a guitar with me (break time in work).

for a "standard" tuning version, see this video

the tuning I use so I don't have to retune all the time is,
