Manuel Rodriguez

Hi everyone

I was only looking at guitars bags and cases and I came across a Manuel Rodriguez C3 which sound very good, nice sustain and clarity. Today I went again and checked it out even more and I really liked it. I was in a search of an electroacoustic because I play plugged once a week. Then the seller talked about another that they had in other store, for the same price I think it was the Manuel Rodriguez 9 - 110. However, to buy it i have to sell two electro acoustics that I have, Yamaha CX40 and Ibanez AEG6TN-BK. Is it worth it? IN the shop I almost said yes but then looking at comments and opinions almost everyone says that they have had a bad experience with the MR brand in general. String buzz, neck problems, you name it. I want opinions!! Thank you very much

If you can play it and like then I don't think you should have so much concern. That said I just never found them priced as good as others and the few I played did not stand out to me.

I don't mean this as any kind of an overall comment on the brand as I do not have the experience to comment across their product line. I have developed a favor for Cordoba as a brand. I have read many negatives on them. Also what I like and what you like could be very different.

I do very much favor truss rods even in classical. As a matter of practicality I think the benefits far exceed any "purest" drawbacks. I am also by no means a serious concert classical player. I have used the truss on my Cordoba and it was critical to getting a good setup.
