new blog - The Squareneck Journal
I recently started a new blog - The Squareneck Journal - which is dedicated to squareneck resonator, Weissenborn and lap steel guitars. The focus is more on musicianship than gear although it will eventually include guitar and gear reviews, as well as interviews with builders. The Squareneck Journal also includes interviews with top players including Rob Ickes, Greg Booth and Billy Cardine and many more.
Upcoming projects include interviews with dobro greats Mike Witcher and Sally Van Meter, noted Weissenborn builder Tony Francis and historian Tom Noe, who spent 7 years researching to write a book about Hermann Weissenborn and his guitars. Thanks, Rob Anderlik www.robanderlik.com

Looks great! I amjust getting into playing the weissenborn style lap guitar. Looking for resources (history, etc) and also online lessons. This will help! Having a heck of a time just trying to find someone locally who plays one that I can network with.
