Default Help identifying Martin OMC guitar

https://reverb.com/item/6328700-mart...ural-2014-s944

So I think this is a Martin OMC-15 but the seller cant seem to tell me what it is other then Custom OMC. Its been listed for 5 months and I can figure out why its still for sale. Rosewood, Ebony, its nice and only 1200 bucks. Can anyone confirm what this is?

Looks like one of the performing artist models. The "custom" part probably makes it part of a run for a big retailer.

Doesn’t look like an OM. The shape is more like one of the new GP shapes.

I agree. It looks very much like an OMCPA4 from a few years ago, before they changed to the current dots and pickguard.

This probably doesn't help:

"Plays well despite fretwear. There is not much saddle life left."

The seller should take a pic of the label and post it; that’d clear up the ‘what is it?’ concerns. Beyond that, it’s possible that the action and such are not great - may need nut/saddle changes, or reduction in relief. No way to know without pics and measurements.

If its a custom, it will just say custom on the inside, in which case you'll have to contact martin with the serial number and see if they can tell you the specs

Thats all it says is "custom" on the inside. Yes serial number solves all problems! Like when something doesnt work, turn it off then turn it on. Grand Performing Artist, GPAK or what ever they call it, also in 1000 range.
Thanks, yea Chicago Guitar Shop must be watching football. Ill ask em again thanks folks.

The body on this player is aging well, with a fair amount of dings and indentations along the front, as well as a moderate amount of buckle rash along the back. The neck has a good smattering of very light texture along the center of its length
The guitar is from 2014 and the cosmetic condition sounds more like the guitar is 30 years old! The previous owner must have been one o' dem bangers. And, one who wore lots of spikes.

Looks like a Gpcpa4r to me. Those all say custom on the inside I think. Not sure where he got the idea that the fretboard is ebony although it looks like it is from the pictures.

Seller included photo with serial number and model. Simply reads,

Custom
1774944

I believe the guitar is a OMCPA4 from 2014. They average for a little over a grand. Good deal for rosewood and ebony. This one is a pass however.

Because it's overpriced. For the asking price you can get a used -16 series. Way too much money for an unknown Big Box Performing Artist "Custom". Be a lot more attractive at about $200 less.

Confused here. If you can figure out why it hasn't sold - why the question? If it's something you are interested in, speak with the store. To me there's only one reason something doesn't sell - price. It is obviously overpriced. Additionally, as stated above, Martin can tell you in minutes what the specs are and I doubt that the selling store is confused or wrong about the listing as the CME is a top-notch business. However, if you're interested in the guitar, speak to them directly and have your questions answered.

Just to reiterate.

That is clearly a GP body not an OM.
