I bought a Yamaha GL1 some weeks ago and I am really happy with it. Ok, it is a bit difficult to get it in tune, but it's possible. The intonation especially of the "g"-String was very bad, but I changed that to a Savarez Alliance Carbon String, and now it's great! And the sound is wonderful. Some of the "better" guitaleles sound more like a mini-guitar, but the Yamaha has that special snappy uke sound ... simply amazing ...
I just posted a few recordings in the "show&tell"-section... Jack |

Fazool, you should check out the KoAloha D-VI (D6), it's a super sweet instrument and I love jammin' it. It's the same class, six strings, tuned A-a, tenor ukulele body.
