On this day 29th of December 1849 died the great Spanish guitarist-composer Dionisio Aguado. For this video I chose 12 Studies from Nuovo Método para guitarra (1843), perhaps the most influential guitar method ever written... these twelve chosen studies are from level "easy" to "intermediate". This guitar is actually a modern copy of early 19th century Fabricatore (this was recorded in 2021), nowadays I have a priviledge to play this repertoire with an original René Lacote from 1839.
