What's the string spacing at the bridge, and neck profile? Thanks

Sorry this one is not working out for you Shades. For us dread guys, finding the right OM or small guitar can be a challenge. Ask me how I know...

Was hoping it had a mod v neck profile with the wider string spacing. Thanks for posting the specs, and good luck with your sale..

..... By default, yes, unless they are custom ordered differently. That is the main difference between the 000 & the OM, the scale length & nut width.

Not a problem! Never played the V style necks before...I’m sure they are great.

Spoke with the dealer and they will accept a return. Make me an offer before I send her back tomorrow if you are interested.

Well, I just couldn't make myself return the guitar today. The dadgum thing looks amazing in the corner of the room, just staring back at me saying "KEEP ME." So, I've decided not to return it and hold onto it a little while longer. It's just amazing to play and I'm going to try and get used to the smaller sound vs a dread.
I could probably be persuaded to trade for the right HD28 with 1.75" nut, or possibly a Collings dread or OM/000. Would prefer rosewood. Last edited by Shades of Blue; 11-27-2017 at 03:58 PM. |
