My initials plus the Gibson model I should have bought in the mid-1980s instead of the Les Paul. Oh well, mistake finally corrected in 2010.

It's "the" and then my middle name, which means "nice" in Danish.. So I'm Marc Nice... And then my boring last name

I went through a phase of trying every type of string I could get my hands on and one of my friends called me a string junky and it amused me.

My name is Mooh. Rhymes with Pooh, as in Winnnie-The-Pooh. It can also be pronounced Mike, though it's less common.

When I was just learning my letters, I was shown my initials. I also recognized the name Pooh, from my books, as my family read to me a lot. I reasoned that my name, Mike, must be spelled Mooh. I then wrote it on everything I could, and it can still be found on the underside of the dining room table that was my parents' but is now mine, 50+ years later.

It appears on my truck licence plate, a gift from my kids.

Peace, Mooh.

The name was born when I started flying a virtual WWII fighter game called European Air War and was derived from the Red Baron's name 'Von Richthofen' which melted with 'Ludwig Van Beethofen' because of my musical affiliations. The T was replaced by an R because I just happened to taste every brand of beer I could find during my Rock 'n Roll days. Nowadays I'm more into whiskey tasting so perhaps it's time to change to 'Old Pulteney ' which lives more up to my age.

My granddaughter calls me "Poppa". When she was starting to talk and I'd do something she didn't like, she'd say "Bad Poppa!". It stuck. I tend to do things that people don't like.

Was in high school on a choir tour the summer Braveheart was in theaters. Some friends and I were laughing at the cliques forming within the choir, and we jokingly started our own clan, tacking "Mc" onto one of our last names.

Mr. Shepherd and I would go on to do a few low-quality film parodies, including Robin Hood: the No Horses Version and The Booger Bottom Project before growing up and just playing guitar and mandolin instead when we want to have fun.

The Otterhound is a part of the root breeding of the Airedale , of which I have three .
Otterhound is just never taken on the internet and is does sound kind of bluesy .

Birth certificate here...

Just kidding!

My brother always has called me a tree hugger because I used to sit and play my guitar outside, and I loved going camping. At the time I drove a huge SUV, so calling me a treehugger was quite the oxymoron, but he penned the name "Treenewt" and it stuck.

I live in Florida, and the guitar that brought me back to playing was a Seagull...
